Here we go again! All part of living in the paradise of the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. The 2025 Caribbean hurricane season kicked off on June 1 with above average activity predicted. Last season we had a hit from Beryl and a few passing systems. Ironically, a passing system with associated heavy rainfall will cause more damage to Jamaica than high winds. Still, fingers crossed – we are ready. Extra gas for generators and our water pump, food in the freezer and a bottle of rum. Blessings and luck to Jamaica.
