This is a question we are asked a lot – How to reach the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. The main road to Mavis Bank is in poor shape, however, it is driveable in a town car. After that we strongly advise 4 wheel drive. Our ‘ side of the mountain’ is , so far unspoiled, being largely farming and not yet touristy – that is reflected in the roads! Lime Tree Farm is set on the end of a ridge with all round panoramic views – at the end of a very rough ‘ road’. We offer transfers ( additional cost) from Kingston or locally from Mavis Bank coffee factory, a vehicle can be safely parked there. Please note – a town taxi or bus, regardless of how much you are assured they will take you to Lime Tree , will not be able to make it. If you are looking for a remote, peaceful, idyllic spot away from the tourist trail with a twist of adventure – Lime Tree Farm is for you.
