While we have ceased driving to locations for bird watching in the Blue Mountains – due mainly to hours of slow driving on decrepit roads, we are now promoting ‘ arm chair bird watching’. Over the years we have spotted some 25 of the Jamaican endemics on or around the farm, add to this the migratory birds staying in the sun for the winter, and we have a very active bird population – and all sighted while seated comfortably enjoying a cup of our home roasted Blue Mountain coffee.
