Tropical Storms, all part of living in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. Yet again, Jamaica and Lime Tree Farm dodged a bullet. Tropical storm Raphael skimmed past the west of Jamaica before turning into a hurricane – phew. Due to a community effort clearing drains and culverts our road was not washed away. We lost our electricity for a few days and that has now been restored. Still, a big clear up and drying out the cottages. We are thankful for our luck and once again our thoughts are with anyone affected by the storm or hurricane.
