Guest houses in the Blue Mountains , idyllic, isolated and peaceful – however, you don’t get anything for nothing. One annual hazard being storms and hurricanes. Dangerous, and at best hugely inconvenient, resulting in damage from wind and water. Due to system uncertainty recently, we cancelled a number of bookings – not to everyones understanding! While the system in question ( to become Sarah) moved away from Jamaica to the west and had a minimal affect on the island, we stand by our decision. Being an old sailor, I err on the side of caution – my responsibility is the safety of my staff and guests. We lost revenue of course, this is not a factor in our decision making process. Blessings.
