Following a recent tourist related incident – luckily it ended happily and no one was hurt. However, it no doubt gave them a terrible scare. We at Lime Tree Farm strongly recommend when planning a trip to the Blue Mountains it is best to avoid any storm conditions, heavy rain and wind should be avoided. Also best to avoid driving in the dark, the roads are unlit, few guard rails and signage. The roads have suffered badly from recent storms and 4 wheel drive is recommended once departing the main road. Please don’t be put off, the Blue Mountains are spectacular, and following this simple advice will give you a memorable driving experience.
